This summer flew by, and it flew by fast. I did enjoy it though, with an abundance of picnics, photoshoots and hangouts with friends.

Now it is the day before school starts and I can safely say — I am excited to go back.

Do not get me wrong, I definitely wish summer could go on a little longer (minus the heat we have been getting).

But I am excited to start my new classes.

Excited to see my friends everyday again.

Excited to be involved in clubs again.

Of course, no one is really excited for homework, tests, or tedious projects, and the stress that comes with them. While I guess it is inevitable, I still feel like this year is going to be a good one.

I hope it is a good one for you too.

Fall, the Best Season for a Reason

The season of fuzzy sweaters, the PSL, changing colours and candy corn is upon us.

In my opinion fall is the best season, as back to school comes with it. The feeling of excitement that comes with every New Year is something I always enjoy. New supplies and new classmates, three more names to learn. Not to mention, the new lessons that are taught and the budding friendships that are made.

Fall is a season of change, and each year something changes. We as kids grow older, and change our selves. No longer are we “Kinders” (Kindergarteners) or “Sevies” (Seventh Graders), we become teenagers and adults, ready to go and make our lives. School in general prepares us for that transition, and that is why fall is my favourite season. We only have so many back to schools to cherish.
